This “evolution” nonsense regarding the president’s stance on same sex marriage was just that–nonsense.
No one (with a functioning brain) actually believed he still had ambivalent feelings on the matter.
That he persisted as long as he did with this charade of not deciding was an insult to our collective intelligence.
Finally, just now, he endorsed the idea on ABC News. It was something he should have done ages ago because he believes it is right and will now, I hope, make the election season a little more honest.
It took too long, but I’m glad he finally found a bit of courage.
By the way, I oppose him on this, too.
